Holidays in Israel and roses from Holland ordered on stolen credit cards.

A computer hacker from Perm, in Russia's northern Urals, fleeced at least a dozen people of more than 200,000 roubles ($6,700) before he was caught at the city's airport trying to board a flight to Moscow.

Like so many trips taken by the 23-year-old, known only as Anton, the tickets had been ordered online using stolen credit card details, GZT.ru reported.

His illegal spending spree took him to Rostov, Sochi, Israel and Uzbekistan, while having large bouquets of roses delivered to his girlfriend.

But it came to an abrupt end when his last victim received an SMS from her bank confirming that she had booked tickets on a Perm - Moscow flight using her card.

She contacted the police, who worked out who was responsible and arrested him at the airport.

The man, who already has a suspended sentence from a similar crime, now faces up to two years in jail for fraud and unlawful access to computer information, while investigators look to find out how he got the card details of his victims.

The victims came from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and the USA, and police suspect they may have been even more crimes before he was stopped.
